We are Michelle Michael and Edwardo Jordan of Sunkissed Ridgebacks by Jordan.  We’re located in Bay Village, Ohio (northeast Ohio) on the shores of Lake Erie.  All of our dogs live in our home and are cherished members of our family.  Our family has lived with and loved ridgebacks since 1984.  We are proud members of the RHODESIAN RIDGEBACK CLUB OF THE UNITED STATES and faithfully adhere to the club’s code of ethics.  See “About Us” for more information.

Rhodesian Ridgebacks are wonderful and special companions, but they are not for everyone.  They are loyal and loving to their families, but they can be very stubborn and strong-willed and tend to be reserved with strangers.  While some may be couch potatoes, they also require a lot of exercise and attention and proper (positive) training.  Ridgebacks are not your average large breed dog.  Be sure to consult with a reputable and ethical breeder or rescue organization before bringing a ridgeback into your home.  Go to our parent site, www.rrcus.org to learn more about the breed.  If you are looking to bring a ridgeback into your home, be sure to ask lots of questions!  Do your homework.  If you’re reasonably prepared for a ridgeback and committed to everything that owning one entails, you will be rewarded time and time again by the magnificent gift of sharing your life with a ridgeback.  But, be warned, be prepared to give up your favorite spot on the sofa and you might want to consider buying a bigger bed!
